I want to show you a little project I made last week. I used an It’s So Easy pattern by Simplicity.
This is a perfect project for instant gratification. I used some more elf fabric leftover from Bella’s last pajama pants I made. And I added some cute gold button embellishments.
I used some red polka dotted fabric for lining.
And made my first flush zipper pocket. It was a little weird on the corners since I didn’t mark my cuts. So I covered the ugly with more buttons.
I don’t really have any experience making bags, yet I still think I’m smarter than the pattern companies. I skipped the interfacing in the handles. I wish I didn’t, because they are going to wrinkle a lot from use. Next time I’ll know better!
I can’t stress enough how easy this pattern is. I really enjoyed making it. I wish I had time to make a few for Christmas. This will be a great pattern to bust out when I need a quick gift.
See you again soon!

I LUV the purse!! My son’s friend does purses n she’s done a ton for me but never out of pajamas!! Sew Cute!!!
This turned out so cute! The polka dot pairs really well. I’m not big into the bag making world- but I gather they take their interfacing real serious ;)
I hate interfacing. But I’m going to buckle down and fine tune my sewing. No more sloppy shortcuts!
