Innumerable WIPS: Chronicles of the Never Ending

Innumerable WIPS: Chronicles of the Never Ending

There’s so much going on over here! I’m dropping a few lines today to say hello. I don’t have any perfect photos to share; only quick iPhone pics. But I couldn’t wait to show you some of our projects.

Sunroom Remodel | SewsNBows

We are remodeling the sunroom. I love the ceiling beams hubby added. Today I’m finishing the second coat of blue paint. It’s a dark, dusty blue inspired by the barn behind Bella in the photo below. (Click here to read my post about the free Scarf Neck Cardigan pattern from Swoon.)

I’m going to have rusty accents…dust and rust. My ceiling fans are white with gold; so they have to die. I’m looking for rustic fans, and a maybe some railroad lanterns too. You should see my home dec board on Pinterest. I’m going nuts.

macrame rope patio furniture DIY

Edson made these macrame rope chairs out of one of our patio sets. Everyone is asking me if I’m going to make cushions. I’m going to use them like that and just sew some decorative outdoor pillows. They are so comfortable! It looks good in my head, because the table will have mosaic tile. It always looks good in my head

Everything on that ironing board needs to be finished. I have 2 sweaters that need Pom Pom trim, another pair of Hudson Pants that I need elastic for, a stuffed bear minus stuffing; on and on. I ran out of everything at once. How does that even happen?!

Classic Panties from PAB Patterns in tribal print fabric

These undies are my only finish for the week. (My go to pattern: Classic Panties & Camisole from PAB*) I have a strict rule about finishing a project before starting another, but I can’t run out shopping the minute I need something anymore. It’s a long drive, and my ride is a dually.

Digging a road with my Dodge Ram Duelly

I’ve been cutting a new road through the pasture to make a looped driveway. I also started a compost bin. I might have to change the blog name to SowsNHoes.

As in garden hoe, you perv.

Until next time,

Amy

Hi Amy! My goodness you do have lots going on over there!!! So awesome that Edson can make things just the way you want them. Better watch out, he will be doing a crafty takeover of your blog with his chair make over. I can’t believe you are even trying to sew with cutting in roads and painting and unpacking!!!! I think you are awesome!!!!! Have fun finishing up all those projects and thanks for popping in and giving us a peek into Amy’s world!!!

I am glad that you have started painting. I love that sunroom. It is a room that I would have in my next house (if there ever is one). One WIP a week would be the way I would do it. I have been lazy lately and not doing much sewing. I do have two recently started quilts……not sure how long they will take. Soon the weather will be better for you I hope. Then you will be able to get more done.
