Pink Chevron Hattie Button Up Tank

Pink Chevron Hattie Button Up Tank

Check out my Hattie Button Up Tank from Peek A Boo Patterns!

I love this pattern so much! Here’s an aerial view…

And here’s the side view. Look at Sofie’s little tummy poking out…aww!!!

And yup, I made britches to match…

It was a little windy so I got mostly squinty faces :(

I used my point & shoot for these photos. I think I’m getting better at taking pictures. Still haven’t bought the fancy camera I’ve been ogling!

Right now I’m working on a 2nd mock up of a pageant outfit with a patriotic theme. I’ve had to adjust for fit, because I have to get it just right. The right outfit, some go-go juice, and my little niece will bring home another title.

Just kidding. We don’t give her go go juice. But Sofie has a blast! If she still enjoys it later, it might even help her get through school. Pageants and scholarships paid for my degree.

My mom was never one of those psycho pageant moms though. We didn’t wear fake teeth and hair extensions back then. So far we haven’t run into any spray tanned babies, but you never know. Wish her luck, it’s in the end of July!

You can buy the Hattie Button Up Tank pattern here.

That looks awesome! I have done several chevron things this year, and still have a ton of fabric left over! I need to try this one, it looks SOOO good, and I think the colors and dots and chevron all go so well together. Thanks for linking this up to the DIY Sunday Showcase!

Oh she looks sooooo adorable and I love the polka dots. What a fun outfit! I love that you can just sew and create something. I’d really love to be able to do that but I’m not very good at it. I guess I’d better get more practice, lol! Thanks for linking up to “Making Your Home Sing Monday!

You know, I have never ever known a pageant kid. You will be my first. Haha! All I know about Pageant is that show – ummmmmm – I don’t know what it was called. It was on Lifetime. I saw about 5 minutes and turned the channel.

Your niece is very very cute. The clothes are awesome! I am sure she will shine! I cannot wait to see the other stuff you have brewing!

Well done Amy! Sophie’s adorable and you’ve really captured some great shots here. My fav is the one where she is looking away, oh and the one where she’s looking up…I find myself wondering what she’s looking at and what she’s thinking about.

I like the chevron down the front button tab, and the little ruffle along the side seam….too cute.
