Ruffled PJs Variations For Sarah

Ruffled PJs Variations For Sarah

Ruffled PJs from OUASM are my thang! I made a pair… Now I can’t stop making them!

And it looks like I’ll have plenty of reasons to keep making them. All the kids want their own pair! Meet Sarah, our newest SewsNBows model.

Sarah is such a celebritot. Her mom said, “Sarah, be sassy!” And lemme tell ya- this kid brought sass! She does justice to these fun pajamas.

Sarah’s new jammies feature a contrasting patch pocket, and inseam pockets in the pants. We paired a colorful bubble print with more pink chevron. (I’ve still so much of the chevron. I’ve got to use this fabric up!)

I used 4 big, hot pink buttons in back- they match her big, colorful personality.

Since I’ve been having so much fun with Ruffled PJ’s, I thought I’d try a nightgown version. I just added length the to the skirted bodice. With this version, I also shortened the sleeves. I think that’s one of the things I love so much about this pattern. It’s so versatile! (This nightgown used up the last of my cozy flannel foxes. I’m sewing through this stash y’all!)

These sew up so quick and easy! If you are looking for the perfect pattern to make some last minute gifts, here it is. You can get your PDF copy of this pattern at Once Upon A Sewing Machine.

That kitty nightgown is SO cute! You’re making me want to dust off my sewing machine Amy! I haven’t done any sewing in what feels like weeks! How do you do it?

She is so adorable, and sassy! I fear my child will never be that photogenic! She can sense cameras around and makes these weird faces that I guess she thinks are cute? I don’t know. I think I might attempt a nightgown for her Christmas Eve jammies. I haven’t done a lot of sewing for her, beyond quick and easy Halloween costumes. It’s all so tiny!
