Scrundlewear Sew & Show + Pattern Review
Scrundlewear Pattern Review
The Scrundlewear pattern is designed by Stitch Upon A Time.
There are briefs or boyshorts variations; with 4 different waistband options, 2 different leg band options, 3 trim options, faux fly, and a lace or ribbon bow. You can make more than 16 different underwear with this one pattern! The sizing goes from women’s XS-XXXL.
I’m showing the XS size on my size 6 dressform. She would wear a size small according to the pattern measurements; but I used spandex from Funki Fabrics so there’s plenty of give. (In fact, the 2 pairs you see in this post fit size tween girls size 14 and 16.) This is a womens pattern but it will definitely work for older or plus sized girls.
All of my friends are asking for some. Yup, I’m that girl who drops her jeans in your living room screaming, “Look at my panties! Aren’t they cute?!! I MAAADE them!” Scary, but true.
Anyways, I love this pattern because they feel like granny panties. I said it; I like grannies. I can’t stand a rolling waistband or buttcheeks hanging out anywhere. Who made the rule that comfy underwear has to be frumpy? Now I have a go-to pattern for pretty undies, with peace of mind that my butt will be properly secured.
