I made another pullover hoodie. The last one didn’t fit my kid, so I gave it to her little cousin. This time I knew what needed to be adjusted from my previous attempt. You can see that disaster here. I’m still not 100% satisfied with this one’s wide neckline, and imperfect top stitching around the pocket. It’s meh.
But this kid makes anything look cute.
I made the elf pajamas too.
Bella wanted a bow as big as her shoe.
Of coarse Champ has to be in all our photos.
I made my niece Sofie a couple bows too. They stay in pretty well if I use the longer alligator clip.
She has a forehead booboo :( She tries to do everything her big brothers do.
She giggles every time I show her a picture of herself…
I’m really excited Sofie can wear her bows a little bigger now. The really biganormous bows have to go on a barrette, and she can’t wear those yet. But it won’t be long!
Now I’m working on Barbie clothes to get rid of scraps. What’s on your sewing table?

Sometimes you just have to call it on a project right!? Cute bows!
Yes! And I’m scared off of frankensteining for a while! Commercial patterns are great for kids clothes because they grow so fast…why waste my time drafting when they wont fit it next week? I think this spring I’ll start drafting some womenswear. I’m more comfortable if its all mine, or all commercial.
