Tween Style Doll Clothes
Happy Halloween dear friends! It’s here already, and I didn’t even get to show you the costume I made for Mr. SewsNBows yet. He’s an Indian warrior! I’ll show you at least by Thanksgiving. Pilgrims & Indians, it kind of works! Right? Just agree.
Today, I want to use Halloween as an excuse to play dolls! My daughter and I styled this doll with a cute Halloween Fascinator and spider ring.
Check out the tween style doll clothes! The jeans are made with the LJC skinny jeans pattern. I used printed stretch denim leftover from my nieces Sunki dress. The front and back pockets are functional, and the waist is elasticized so they slip on and off easily.
The tee is made from premium knit fabric. It won’t fade or bleed after washing. It has a lot of stretch, which makes it easy for little hands to dress and undress their doll. It also has good “memory”, which means it doesn’t get all tugged out of shape like lesser quality knits. The cute v-neck is hidden under her green infinity scarf- it’s just the right pop of color for this outfit!
It opens with thin Velcro in the back. (Also note cute back pockets on the jeans!) Tween style doll clothes have tons of style, and lots of details. They look just like the clothes your kid wears.
