Valentine Hair Bows (My only V-Day Post!)

Valentine Hair Bows (My only V-Day Post!)

I should really get more into Valentines Day! I haven’t done a thing this year except these these Valentine hair bows…

Valentine Hair Bows | SewsNBows

It seems like the good bloggers have lots of posts for all the little holidays. And I think the rule is to post them well before the actual holiday; to give it time to circulate on Pinterest. I’m probably too lazy to ever go that far…

Has anyone noticed retail stores have us gearing up for Easter already? Let’s just focus on Valentines Day here :)

But I am trying to do a better job blogging this year. I’m aiming for more “in progress” pics, and to share some of my tips and tricks.

I shared this tutorial with Jessica & Hillary from Domestic Bliss Squared. They are a prime example of good bloggers, with lots of tutorials, tips, and tricks. I loved their easy Heart Hair Clips last week.

Hello. I'm Amy and I'm addicted to sewing. I borderline-hoard fabric, buttons, & patterns. Sometimes I wish I could pile my fabric up on the floor and just roll in it!

Amy you are so good at bowmaking!Have you ever contacted Michelle from Ribbon retreat? I’m sure they would love to have you as a contributor.

  2. Cindy

You always make the most intricate, pretty bows! I’m behind on any holiday I spent yesterday afternoon making a heart shirt for my middle girl to wear to school today.;)

I didn’t really get into Valentines Day this year. To busy getting ready for yet another snow storm. However, I am looking forward to making some doll sized Easter dresses very soon.

Yes, I actually made a handbag the other day. I am posting about it tomorrow. I still have to take it easy, craft and refashion projects for now, but it’s something.

Glad you said the good bloggers I’m sure you’ve been stunned by my effort of zero posts, it’s hot as hell here so who wants to snuggle anyway. Alrighty whine over off to check out your beautiful bow.

I’m not that great about being as far ahead of the holiday as you have to be to blog it. Donna made a dress for M which was great because it just occurred to me O has a holiday party on Friday….I can’t wait until M has enough hair to rock a bow! These are really cute!

It seems that the U.S. is way more into all the holidays than we are, not that Valentines Day is a holiday over here. Fabulous tutorial on the scrappy bow, Amy. I think even I could manage that, although I’d be tempted to sew instead of using the glue in the last steps… I make SUCH a mess with glue. I love the 2nd bow from the top on this page, too.
